Terms and Conditions

The website www.maracuja.gr  (hereinafter “maracuja.gr”) contains an e-shop, which is the online presence of the company Z.GIANNAKOPOULOU- H.GANOTAKIS G.P.​. The company’s registered offices are located in Rhodes, Greece.

These terms and conditions are fully in line with applicable European and Greek law and users hereby acknowledge the company’s right to change the provisions of these terms and conditions to the extent that those terms are not binding legal obligations on the company, without prejudice to existing situations.

Orders placed via maracuja.gr are distance contracts which are regulated by Law 2251/1994 as amended and in force from time to time.
Users of this website acknowledge that they have read these terms and conditions, accept them, and undertake to comply with them.

 

ORDER PROCESS

The order process consists of 6 stages: 1. Users must fill out the special order form with the information needed to conclude the contract. 2. Users must select the payment method and fill out the necessary information. 3. Users then select the dispatch method. 4. Users must then unreservedly accept the distance contract and the terms and conditions of use by clicking on the ‘ACCEPT TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE’ button. 5. Users then have the chance to review their order, check over it and make changes. 6. The order is then placed.

The system automatically guides customers from one stage to the next until the order is completed. Before the order is completed, maracuja.gr will inform customers about the identify and address of the supplier, the essential features of the product, the price, quantity, postage costs, payment and delivery method, the validity and value of any special offers, and the customer’s right to withdraw from the transaction. The order is then stored in the customer’s account. After the order form is sent, customers will receive an electronic version of the order, which they can then save.

 

PRICES OF SOLD PRODUCTS

The prices shown include VAT at the lawful rate. The prices shown do not include postage costs. Customers will be notified about the total cost, including postage costs, before the order is placed.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Credit card, debited in accordance with the rules of Alpha Bank. We can accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards as payment methods 

If a credit card is used, we do not store the card data anywhere. That data is only used for the purpose of checking the card and then debiting the amount. The data entered by customers on beatific.gr is not disclosed to the bank.

 

DISPATCH PROCESS AND COSTS 

Postage charges vary depending on the country and the quantity of products ordered. Customers are notified about the exact cost in each case before the order is placed.

Goods are dispatched to the address indicated by the customer. 
Goods are also dispatched within 3 days.
If there is any change to this, customers will be notified by email about the expected dispatch date.
If it is not possible to deliver products within the specified time because of force majeure (e.g. poor weather conditions, strikes, etc.), customers will receive an email asking whether they wish their order to be completed or not. maracuja.gr bears no liability for any circumstances beyond its control.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Withdrawal

Customers are entitled to return the entire order or part thereof without being obliged to give reasons for wanting to return the products. This must be done within 14 working days from the date on which the order was received. In this case, they only have to pay the direct cost of returning the products. If the reason for returning the products is a mistake maracuja.gr made, the company undertakes to cover the cost of returning the products. 
To exercise the right to withdraw from the contract, customers must fill out the special ‘withdrawal form’ that can be found here. When filled out, it should be sent by post or email to the address rodosmaracuja@gmail.com  If the form is sent by ordinary mail, it must arrive at maracuja.gr within the withdrawal deadline of 14 working days.

Customers are obliged to send the products in the same perfect condition in which they received them, i.e. without the packaging having been opened or without special labels having been removed from the products. In addition, when returning products, they must include the sales receipt and if they have not already sent the withdrawal form by email, they must also include the withdrawal form. 
When products are returned, payment will be returned to the customer in accordance with the method the customer opted for when paying for the order. Money will be returned no later than 30 days from the date on which maracuja.gr receives the returned products. 
Once maracuja.gr receives the products, it will immediately examine the request to return them and inform the customer by email about how the request is proceeding.

Right to replacements

The company is not able to offer a right to replacement products. If customers wish to change certain products they are obliged to return them to the company and to place a new order. If the products are being returned because the company made a mistake, the company will pay the cost of return.

The maracuja.gr website is straightforward to use and user-friendly and has been designed to meet the specific needs of each and every user. To provide better levels of service, it is important that you, our customers, understand that you need to provide specific information to enable your orders to be handled. When filling out the membership form, we will ask for your name-surname, postal address, postcode, email address and phone number.

Customers may also be asked for additional specific information, such as information about how the order is to be dispatched – delivered, invoicing data or details about the offer the customer has requested.

maracuja.gr allows users to correct, change, supplement or delete data and information supplied to maracuja.gr.  If you opt to delete information, maracuja.gr will ensure that that information is removed from its files immediately.
